SPARKS, MD — West Chester University landed two players on the 2026 USA Lacrosse Division II women's All-America list it was announced Tuesday. Senior
Sydney Wasdick (Pottsgrove, Pa./Pottsgrove) was a first-team selection while classmate
Madeline Edinger (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) was a third-team pick.
All-Americans were chosen by
USA Lacrosse Magazine staff with input from coaches and conferences across the country. Both Wasdick and Edinger are repeat honorees by USA Lacrosse with Wasdick earning second team honors a year ago and Edinger being named an honorable mention selection last spring.
Wasdick ranked fifth in the PSAC in goals per game (3.20) and listed second on the team in goals with 64 and third in points with a career-best 84. She ranked third in the PSAC in draw controls with 110, marking the second straight year she eclipsed 100 in a season. Her 260 career draw controls is sixth all-time at West Chester. She was twice named PSAC East offensive player of the week and even parlayed one of those awards into a national player of the week honor from
U.S. Lacrosse Magazine this spring. She completed her career with 177 goals and 211 points to go along with 103 ground balls.
Edinger finished the year with a career-high 41 goals and 60 points. She picked up 36 ground balls and 20 draw controls while causing 22 turnovers in the riding game. She was named a first-team All-PSAC East performer following the regular season. She graduates from West Chester University ninth on the school's career draw controls list with 157 while her 85 career games played is the most by a lacrosse player in school history.
