WEST CHESTER, Pa.
Stephanie Kienle posted seven points and
Chrissy Kane six to lead No. 2 West Chester to an easy 26-2 victory over Slippery Rock in the regular-season finale at South Campus Turf Field Saturday afternoon.
West Chester (15-1, 14-0 PSAC) finished the regular season undefeated and in first place. The Golden Rams will face the fourth seed in the semifinals of the PSAC postseason tournament on Tuesday at 4 p.m. That opponent will be either Millersville or Shippensburg. The other semifinal game will feature Bloomsburg at Lock Haven. The winners will meet in the championship game on Saturday, May 5 at the home of the highest seed to advance.
West Chester ran out to an 18-0 lead by halftime, scoring the games first seven goals in just over seven minutes of action. Kienle scored her only two goals of the game in the first two minutes. She dished out five assists the rest of the way.

Jackie Baker each tallied four goals to lead all goal scorers on the afternoon.
Fifteen different Golden Rams scored in the tilt, including senior
Leigh Pesko, who potted her first career goal on Senior Day in her final home game.

Kasey Longergan each registered two goals on the afternoon.
Slippery finally put up a tally on the scoreboard nine minutes into the second half when Caitlin OBrien scored in an unsettled situation on a break. That marker made the score, 18-1.
Mary Beth Green made one save in the first half and improved to 13-1 on the year in the cage.
Ally Livelsberger played the second half and allowed two goals and made two saves.
Ashley Winkelspecht made 13 saves for Slippery Rock. Catherine Smolter scored the visitors other goal off an assist from Leann Sowers.
