West Chester Drubs St. Louis, 5-0

ST. LOUIS, Mo.
- West Chester shut out host St. Louis, 5-0, Friday afternoon in an Atlantic-10 field hockey contest. West Chester (6-9, 1-3 A-10) scored twice in the first half and three times in the second half to earn its first conference win of the season over St. Louis (4-11, 0-4).

Desiree Walker scored both first-half goals off penalty corners to give the Rams the lead at the break. Sophomore Brittany Cislak assisted on both of Walker's tallies before burying a shot herself in the second half.

West Chester scored three goals over a 3:33 span in the second half to break the game wide open.

Joelle Zarefoss made eight saves in 60 minutes of action in the cage for the Golden Rams. Brittney Harding played the final 10 minutes and recorded a save.
