MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - West Chester downed PSAC East rival Millersville, 3-1, Friday evening in the first of two volleyball matches scheduled on the first day at the Millersville Tournament. The Golden Rams won by scores of 25-16, 19-25, 27-25, 25-12.
The win moved West Chester to 6-0 overall on the season and 2-0 in the conference. The Golden Rams will take on Adelphi later in the evening in their second match.
After dropping the second set of the match to even things up, West Chester was able to rebound with a hard-fought 27-25 victory that broke the Marauders' spirit. The Rams then easily prevailed in the fourth set by a 25-12 margin.
