West Chester Women's Rugby Falls To Shippensburg, 14-7

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Shippensburg scored a try in each half and held off a determined West Chester squad in a pivotal women's rugby Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union match on South Campus Saturday afternoon.

Amidst a steady rain, West Chester (3-3) could not find an answer to Shippensburg, who held a 7-0 halftime lead. With the loss, Shippensburg wins the EPRU Division I regular-season title and earned the top seed in the upcoming postseason tournament next month.

West Chester will be the third seed in the four-team tournament that will take place Nov. 7-8.
