WEST CHESTER, PA - The National Intercollegiate Rugby Association (NIRA) released its all-academic team on Thursday afternoon, and West Chester University was represented by 12 players on the academic squad.
Following the same criteria as the Collegiate Sports Communicators, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore, possess a grade-point average of at least 3.50 and must have played in at least 50 percent of the Institution's games.
West Chester enjoyed another successful season in 2024-25, finishing in third place in the regular-season standings and advancing to the semifinal round of the NIRA Tier II Championships once again. The spring season concluded at the Collegiate Rugby 7s Championships in Washington, D.C. for the second straight year.
