MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Both Dana Weems and Janelle Garber registered double-doubles as visiting West Chester earned a season sweep of Millersville with a 75-71 victory in double overtime of a PSAC East women's basketball game Saturday afternoon at Pucillo Gym.
Weems scored 16 points and grabbed 13 rebounds while Garber posted 14 points and 10 boards to lead the Golden Rams, who also defeated the Marauders in overtime in Hollinger Field House earlier this season. With the win, West Chester (15-6, 7-1) remains atop the PSAC Eastern Division standing all alone with a 7-1 mark.
Weems added six steals to her line score while Garber registered a season-high five blocked shots. Megan Stewart scored 15 points and Bridget Carlin had 13. Allison Hostetter had 11 rebounds.
Jenna Craig scored 16 points and had 16 rebounds for Millersville (16-5, 5-3).
West Chester returns home on Wednesday to face cross-town rival Cheyney at Hollinger Field House at 7:30 p.m.
