WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Jahzinga Tracey and Eryn Withers each scored 17 points as No. 16 Indiana, (Pa.), eliminated host West Chester in the semifinals of the 2009 PSAC Women's Basketball Championships on Friday evening at Hollinger Field House.
IUP (24-5) advances to the championship game for the third straight year, in search of its third consecutive conference crown, to play California (Pa.) on Saturday night at 7 p.m. at Hollinger Field House. Cal was a 67-57 winner over Millersville in the other semifinal. Cal's entry in the finals makes it a perfect trifecta for the PSAC in its championship game as IUP and Cal square off for the third time in as many years for the title.
West Chester (20-9) got 19 points from senior Dana Weems in her final college game. Janelle Garber chipped in 14 and Megan Stewart had 12.
The Golden Rams bow out of the conference playoffs in the semifinals at the hands of IUP for the second consecutive year.
