Women’s Tennis Falls To IUP, 6-3

WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Indiana, Pa. took two of the three doubles matches and then swept the top three singles competitions en route to a 6-3 victory over host West Chester on a balmy Saturday afternoon at the South Campus Tennis Courts. 

West Chester (3-1) saw its three-game win streak to open the season come to a halt. Claire Afrassiabian was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at No. 4 singles for the Golden Rams while Teresa Grasso was a 6-4, 6-1 winner at sixth singles.

In the doubles competition, Grasso and Allie Melhem teamed up at third doubles for an 8-6 win.
