MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – Alex Lennon scored a career-high 21 points, and Allison Hostetter posted a double-double, but it was not enough for West Chester University to overcome Glenville State in the first game of the Millersville Tip-Off Tournament Friday evening inside Pucillo Gym.
West Chester (2-1) saw its modest two-game win streak come to an end while Glenville State improved to 3-1 overall.
The Golden Rams struggled from the foul line all night long, shooting just 55.6 percent (15 of 27).
Hostetter scored 11 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to register her second double-double in three games. Jillian Keefer put up 19 points while Megan Stewart had 18 points and seven assists to round out four Golden Rams in double figures. Lennon added three blocked shots and three steals to her 21 points. She also grabbed seven rebounds.
Glenville State’s Tenisha Wilson posted a game-high 27 points and Autumn Davis scored 23. LaToya Hambrick grabbed 11 boards for Glenville State.
West Chester takes on Molloy Saturday afternoon.
