MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Nicole Haines posted seven points, and Lauren Glassey, Gabrielle Stitz and Erin Oczkowski all added a pair of tallies to lead the sixth-ranked West Chester Golden Rams to a 15-7 win over host Millersville Marauders on a chilly Saturday night at Chryst Field in the regular-season finale for both schools.
West Chester (16-0, 10-0 PSAC East) finishes the regular-season undefeated in conference play, running its current unbeaten streak in regular-season league play to 59. Millersville (3-11, 2-8) ends its 2010 campaign with the home loss on Senior Night.
The Golden Rams led 9-3 at halftime and controlled the tempo of the game throughout. Haines scored four goals and assisted on three others to pace all West Chester scorers.
West Chester will host the 2010 PSAC Women's Lacrosse semifinals and finals next weekend at Vonnie Gros Field. The Golden Rams will play the winner of the Mercyhurst-Gannon quarterfinal round match which will be played Tuesday.
