WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester kicked off day two of Ram Fest sweeping Post in three straight games, by scores of 25-15, 25-17 and 25-14. The Golden Rams then shut out Barton, 3-0, by marks of 25-17, 25-17 and 25-15.
Michelle Powers made 10 kills and two blocks against Post in the morning. Helen Fitzpatrick set up her teammates with 26 assists while Tyler Shaffer and Lisa Campbell both notched seven digs.
In the afternoon, Lexi Kegerise posted 10 kills against Barton. Fitzpatrick added eight kills and set up 25 assists. Campbell surpassed her 1,000 career digs in the Barton game.
Head coach Kassie Bellaver captured her 100th win with victory over Barton, making her West Chester volleyball's all-time wins leader.
It was a great weekend for the Golden Rams, who defeated all four of their opponents and shut out their opponents in three of those matches.
West Chester is now 7-0 this season.
The Golden Rams will step on the court next Friday at 7 p.m. against Gannon at home.
