WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Fans attending this weekend's PSAC men's and women's basketball crossover contests will be greeted to a brand new Daktronics, Inc., scoreboard that is hanging above center court.
The new state-of-the-art scoreboard replaces the older model, which hung from the rafters in Hollinger for the past 25 years. The new scoreboard includes a more precise scoring system that tracks time down to tenths of a second and lights up the backboards when the buzzer hits 0.0 seconds.
West Chester welcomes Edinboro to Hollinger Field House on Saturday afternoon for the women's game at 1 p.m. to be followed by the men's game at 3 p.m. Sunday, Lock Haven invades Hollinger for another women's and men's doubleheader at the same times.
Saturday's women's contest is Parent's Day at West Chester University. The women's basketball program will pay tribute to the parents of its current student-athletes in a brief pre-game ceremony.
