WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University defeated Kutztown, 20-7, in a PSAC women's lacrosse match Thursday afternoon.
West Chester (13-3, 11-0 PSAC East) ran its conference regular-season winning streak to 70 games and finished up its fifth straight undefeated conference slate with the victory over Kutztown (5-11, 0-11).
Claire Grimwood scored four goals and Lauren Glassey registered a hat trick as 13 different Rams etched their name in the scoring column. Jordan Heidelbaugh scored two goals, and Tori Dugan scored a pair of goals as well.
West Chester outshot Kutztown 50-16. MacKenzie O'Keefe (10-3) made two saves, playing the first half. Jess Henderson played the second half and made six saves.
Kutztown's Rachel Mehaffey scored two goals, notching her 100th career goal of her career. Bears goalkeeper Jen McLaughlin recorded 20 saves in the cage.
West Chester hosts Rollins on Saturday at 12 p.m. in the regular season finale of 2011. The Golden Rams will host the PSAC semifinals on April 29-30.
