MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Kayla Gluchowski scored a goal and Nicole Fiorilla posted teh game-winner during a three-goal second half that propelled West Chester to a 4-3 victory over Millersville Saturday afternoon.
West Chester (6-1, 2-1 PSAC East) picked up its third straight win while knocking off a nationally ranked opponent for the fourth time this season.
Gluchowski broke a 2-2 tie in the 55th minute and Nicole Fiorilla added the game-winner six minutes later to put the Golden Rams on top, 4-2. Millersville's Brittany Troutman scored shortly after Fiorilla to pull the hosts to within one, but they could not get the equalizer.
Kristin Arnold was credited with five saves on the afternoon.
Michele Schrift put West Chester on top 1-0 in the first half with an unassisted tally. Leah Angstadt then put the Rams back on top with a marker in the 38th minute that followed a goal by Millersville.
