WATERBURY, Conn. - West Chester's women's tennis team swept Post University, 9-0, in non-league action Friday afternoon.
West Chester swept all six singles competitions in straight sets. Brittany Counts was a 6-0, 6-2 winner at No. 1 singles. The 6-2 win marked one of only two sets in singles play that Post won a game. Nos. 2 thru 5 singles all were 6-0, 6-0 winners.
Ali Fetter picked up the win at second singles while Alex Santoro was a winner at third singles. Nikky Paller was a winner at fourth singles and Englebert and Thiel were winners at fifth and sixth singles, respectively.
Counts and Santoro teamed up at first doubles for an 8-4 win while Fetter and Paller were 8-0 winners at second doubles. Haley Wissinger and Lauren Igo were 8-4 winners at third doubles.
