MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - West Chester University's women's volleyball squad erased a two-set deficit, sweeping the next three, en route to a come-from-behind, 3-2, victory over host Millersville at Pucillo Gym on Saturday afternoon.
West Chester (14-14, 4-9 PSAC) keeps its playoff hopes alive with the road win over the Marauders. The Golden Rams are currently in fourth place in the PSAC East Division standings. The top four teams qualify for the postseason tournament.
Lexi Kegerise led the way with 22 kills in the win. West Chester dropped the first set, 27-25, and then fell in the second set, 25-19. However, convincing wins in the next two sets, 25-13, 25-16, were followed by a 15-13 win in the fifth and deciding set.
Allison Grammer chipped win with 17 kills while Dana Markol had 21 digs. Tori Hutchinson recorded 21 assists while Mandy Flynn added 13 helpers and Mary Faust 12 assist and 13 digs.
