LOUISVILLE, Ky. - No. 7 West Chester University prepares to take on No. 3 Rollins College in game one of the national semifinals at the 2012 NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse championships being held in conjunction with the NCAA's Division II Festival in Louisville, Ky.
West Chester (15-3) is making its 10th appearance in the national semifinals while Rollins (15-1) is making its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament. The Golden Rams defeated Limestone College, 11-7, last Saturday afternoon to reach the semifinals. Rollins, the No. 1 seed in the South Region, earned a bye to the semifinals.
In the other semifinal, C.W. Post will faceoff against LeMoyne College after the West Chester-Rollins game is finished. The two semifinal winners will play for the Division II national championship on Saturday at 2 p.m.
