WEST CHESTER, Pa. –
Dallas Ely scored 17 points, and
Anna Kuntz added 15 points and 14 rebounds, as West Chester completed an 18-point second-half comeback to down visiting Millersville, 85-82, in a PSAC East women's basketball showdown Thursday night inside Hollinger Field House.

West Chester (15-6, 10-1 PSAC East) increased its winning streak to four games while maintaining a one-game lead on Bloomsburg for first place in the conference standings. Millersville (11-9, 6-4) fell into a tie for fourth place in the Eastern Division.

Ely hit a pivotal 3-pointer with 1:15 to play that gave West Chester its largest lead of the game at 82-77. It was her 100th career 3-pointer. She would later add a free throw with 17.3 seconds to play that gave the hosts an 83-80 advantage.

Millersville's Celeste Robinson (19 points) made a layup with 10.3 to go to draw the Marauders to within one. However, Kuntz capped her fifth double-double of the year with a pair of free throws. Shelby Reimer's 40-foot attempt at the buzzer fell short for Millersville.

West Chester tied the game in the second half at 73-all with 3:43 to play thanks to a 23-8 run. The Golden Rams trailed the Marauders 65-47 with 14:06 left in the final period. Kuntz nailed a pair of free throws to give the home team its first lead since the 18:38 mark of the first half.

The Golden Rams struggled shooting all day, making just 2 of 15 from beyond the arc and 25 of 44 (56.8 percent) from the foul line. However, both of those areas came back to them down the stretch just in time for West Chester to complete its comeback.

WCU hit three of its last four from the charity stripe in the final 16 seconds, and Ely's 3-pointer with 1:15 to go proved to be the basket that put the hosts in control late.

West Chester put five players in double figures.
Jasmen Clark had 16 points, and both
Brittany Sicinski and
Serifat Junaid added 14 for the Golden Rams.
Kendall Benovy had eight points and nine rebounds.

Robinson's 19 led five Marauders in double figures as well. Carly Gallagher had 17, before fouling out, Yasmin Cooper put up 15, and Reimer and Sabina Mehmedovic each added 11.

West Chester hosts Kutztown on Saturday at 1 p.m. in another PSAC East showdown.
