Marina Sharkey (Newtown Square, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) posted a double-double with 11 kills and 15 digs, but visiting Millersville swept a PSAC women's volleyball match, 3-0, Friday night inside Hollinger Field House.

West Chester (8-6, 0-5 PSAC) is still in search of its first conference win while Millersville (7-6, 1-4) got into the win column in conference play for the first time. It marked the first time that the Marauders swept a series from the Golden Rams since 2005 and also gave Millersville a 26-25 lead in the all-time series.

Millersville captured a hard-fought first set, 27-25. West Chester battled back to take a 10-4 lead early in the second set. However, the Marauders later went on a 10-3 run of its own, due in large part to unforced errors from the hosts, to capture a 25-21 win. Millersville finished it off with a 25-16 win in the third set.

The Golden Rams managed just an .093 hitting percentage for the three sets as compared to the Marauders' .222.

Mandy Flynn (Pittsburgh, Pa./South Fayette) registered a team-best 16 assists
. Callie Krajcir (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) had 12 digs.

West Chester will get back at it Saturday afternoon when Shippensburg comes calling to Hollinger at 1 p.m.
