Rachal Toppi (Glassboro, N.J./Glassboro) scored two goals, and
Alexis Versak (Limerick, Pa./Spring-Ford) and
Dayle Paustian (Martinsville, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) registered a goal and an assist to lead visiting West Chester to a 6-3 victory over Ursinus in the 37th annual Eleanour Snell Cup Sunday afternoon.

West Chester (12-3) won back the Snell Cup that it lost last year, 4-3, on its home field. Ursinus (11-3), the top-ranked team in the country at Division III, saw its six-game winning streak come to a close. West Chester took over the lead in the Snell Cup series, 17-16-4, while the victory extends the Golden Rams' lead in the all-time series to, 31-26-12. The two regional rivals have been playing field hockey since the 1920s.

West Chester scored four unanswered goals in the first 22 minutes of the match to take control early. Four different players each found the back of the net while Paustian scored the first goal and assisted on the third.
Kristina Scherrer (Enola, Pa./Cumberland Valley) and Toppi scored 36 seconds apart 22 minutes into the contest to end the four-goal run.

Ursinus finally broke through 31 seconds into the second half on a breakaway. However, Toppi converted a penalty stroke in the 38th minute to restore the visitor's four-goal advantage.

Versak scored in the 50th minute sandwiched around a pair of Ursinus tallies to close out the scoring.

Brianna Magner (Egg Harbor, N.J./Egg Harbor Twp.)(6-1) made four saves in 65 minutes of action in goal. Sarah Krause (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley) played final five minutes, allowing one goal and making a pair of saves.
