Box Score SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Sarah Dennison scored with 3:49 seconds left in the second overtime period to lift 16th-ranked West Chester University to a 13-12 victory over host Slippery Rock on a cold and windy Friday afternoon amidst snow flurries.

West Chester (4-2, 2-1 PSAC) held a 12-9 lead with 14 minutes left when Slippery Rock (2-5, 0-2) scored three unanswered goals to close out regulation and force overtime.

Slippery Rock had a free position opportunity with 10 seconds left in regulation and the game tied. However, The Rock's shot went high, and the game went into OT.

In the second overtime, Slippery Rock won the draw control. However, the Danielle Ferguson caused an SRU turnover and scooped up the ground ball. Following a good clear by the Golden Rams, Erin Eckert was awarded a free position opportunity with 4:26 remaining. Her shot was saved by goalkeeper Jordan Wagner, but Erin Gallagher picked up the ground ball.

Dennison then put home the game winner from in close on the right-wing side of the cage to give the visitors the win.

Ashley Pyle scored four goals and registered three assists while Hannah Cowan netted a hat trick and one assist. Dina Cifelli had three assists. Merrilee Viguers (3-1) made 11 saves.

West Chester continues on to Erie, Pa., Saturday to take on No. 7 Mercyhurst at 12 p.m.
