Box Score EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. – Hannah Cowan and Sarah Dennison scored four goals each to help lead the Golden Rams to a 16-6 win against East Stroudsburg in the PSAC Lacrosse Finale.

This is a notable win for West Chester (12-4,9-3), as they now clinched a third place seed in the PSAC East Tournament.

Hannah Cowan kicked the game off with a goal in the first minute, which was assisted by
Dina Cifelli. Cowan then assisted
Sarah Dennison, who scored back-to-back goals within a minute of each other. Ashley Pyle notched a goal soon after Dennison, which gave the Rams a 4-1 early in the first half.

East Stroudsburg scored with 23 minutes remaining, which cut the lead in half.
Caroline Kuchinsky countered with a goal, which gave West Chester a 5-2 lead. Kuchinsky sparked a scoring spree for the Golden Rams, as they scored six consecutive goals to earn a comfortable 11-3 lead going into the second half. The Lady Rams that were responsible for these clutch goals were
Erin Eckert, Cowan, Dennison, Cifelli and Pyle.

West Chester opened the second half with three goals from Cifelli, Pyle and Cowan.
Down 14-4, the Warriors notched two consecutive goals, but Cowan responded yet again by putting the ball in the back of the net.

East Stroudsburg managed to score one more goal before
Carleigh McWilliams scored the last goal of the game to clinch the 16-6 win for the Golden Rams.

Merrilee Viguers was solid in the goal making 12 saves to pick up her ninth win of the season.
West Chester finishes the regular season on a seven-game winning streak and in third place in the PSAC standings. The Golden Rams earn the third seed in the PSAC Tournament and will host Bloomsburg on Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m. at Vonnie Gros Field. Tickets to the PSAC Women's Lacrosse Tournament are $7 for adults and $2 for students. Students with a valid school ID from any PSAC member institution are admitted free.
