Ashley Pyle (Springfield, Pa./Garnet Valley) scored four goals and finished with 10 points while both
Kristen Vath (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley) and
Sami Barnett (Glenolden, Pa./Interboro) posted five points each to lead No. 9 West Chester to a 19-4 victory over host Bloomsburg in a PSAC women's lacrosse match at Steph Pettit Stadium Tuesday afternoon.
West Chester (8-1, 3-1 PSAC) held Bloomsburg (3-5, 1-4) scoreless in the second half, scoring the final eight goals of the game to run away with the victory.
Pyle added six assists to her four-goal day to lead all scorers on the afternoon. Both Vath and Barnett scored four times in the win.
Hannah Cowan (Wilmington, Del./Ursuline Academy) registered a hat trick as well.
Paige Mitros (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) made five saves to pick up her eighth win.
West Chester hosts Slippery Rock on Friday at Vonnie Gros Field at 3 p.m., and then hosts Gannon on Saturday at 3 p.m. in two crossover matches this weekend.
