WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Senior
Kristen Vath (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley) scored four goals, but it was not enough as visiting East Stroudsburg topped host West Chester, 17-12, in a PSAC women's lacrosse contest at Vonnie Gros Field Wednesday afternoon.
West Chester (11-4, 8-3 PSAC) falls into third place in the league standings while East Stroudsburg (14-2, 10-1) maintains its perch atop the league standings.
East Stroudsburg dominated the draw controls and the time of possession throughout the first half, en route to a 12-6 lead by halftime. For the game, the Warriors held a 21-10 advantage in draw controls.
Ashley Pyle (Springfield, Pa./Garnet Valley) scored twice and assisted on a goal in the loss as well.
The Golden Rams conclude the regular season on the road at Edinboro Saturday.
