NEW HAVEN, Conn. – West Chester's men's swim team won four events, and claimed the top two spots in three others, on the first night of its tri-meet season opener hosted by Southern Connecticut State University Friday night.

Logan Brockway (York, Pa./Dallastown) led off the 400-yard medley relay that was a winner while also taking first place in the 100 backstroke Friday. Finally, he was part of the 800 free relay that took first place. Freshman
Oliver Nguyen (West Chester, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) was right behind Brockway in the 100 back (54.30). Â

Evan Parkhill (Southampton, Pa./LaSalle) was a winner in his first college meet. He won the 100 breaststroke in 59.75 seconds.
Jarod Anderson (Newville, Pa./Big Spring) was right behind him in 59.95. Anderson also placed third in the 400 indiivdual medley and was part of the 400 medley relay win to open the night.
