Box Score WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University women's tennis capped off a 4-0 fall season with a 6-1 win at home over Jefferson University on Tuesday.
The Golden Rams swept the doubles portion of the match with three wins while taking five of six singles matches as well.
Junior
Leandra Roelker (Allentown, Pa. / Salisbury) won second singles and first doubles with freshman
Davica Massaro (Medford, N.J. / Shawnee).
Julia Mowrey (Bethlehem, Pa. / Notre Dame) and
Shannon Nixon (Wyncote, Pa. / Cheltenham) won second doubles while
Elaina Rochford (West Chester, Pa. / Henderson) and
Elaina Lee (Pottstown, Pa. / Owen J. Roberts) won in the third spot. All four athletes also won their singles matches to bring West Chester's undefeated fall season to a close.
The Golden Rams will get back on action for the spring season beginning on March 7 in Babson Park, Fla. with a dual match against Webber International University set to begin at 11 a.m.
