WEST CHESTER, Pa. – A total of 24 student-athletes (9 rising sophomores; 15 rising juniors), representing 13 athletic teams, were recently selected to The Academy, the newest program within WCU Athletics'
Michael Horrocks Leadership Institute.
The Academy, created in conjunction with West Chester University's Office of Student Leadership and Involvement, is a multi-year leadership development program offering successive, consistent leadership education to a select group of student-athlete leaders. Members will meet three times per semester, collaborate with other student leaders, develop their own written leadership philosophy, and bring knowledge from programming back to their respective teams.
The following student-athletes completed an application and interview process and were notified early last week of their acceptance:
