WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Fifth-year senior defender,
Molly Reinhart (Sinking Springs, Pa./Wilson), was named preseason All-America by U.S. Lacrosse Magazine it was announced last week.
US Lacrosse Magazine announced its 2021 Division II Women's Preseason All-Americans, part of the magazine's immersive coverage leading to the upcoming spring season.
Thirteen student-athletes from 11 schools make up the preseason list. Continue below for breakdowns of each player selected.
Reinhart, who suffered a preseason injury before the 2020 campaign, missed West Chester's two regular-season contests before the spring season was shut down by the COVID-19 pandemic. She was an all-region selection in 2019, leading the Golden Rams to the NCAA Division II national championship game.
The Sinking Springs native has caused over 100 turnovers and picked up 97 ground balls in 44 career games – 36 of those as a starter. She is a two-time all-conference pick in the highly competitive Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) while also serving as the unequivocal leader of the defense at Vonnie Gros Field.
West Chester's women's lacrosse squad returns to practice Jan. 26 in preparation for its 2021 season opener at Shippensburg on March 17.
