West Chester University Athletics Announces Update To Spectator Policy

WEST CHESTER, PA – West Chester University Director of Athletics, Terence Beattie, announced an update to the athletic department's spectator policy Wednesday afternoon. A limited number of fans will be allowed admission to athletic events on South Campus.

West Chester University's primary goal is the health and safety of our student-athletes and the successful completion of spring seasons that were abruptly canceled in 2020.

WCU Athletics will follow all current CDC, PA, Chester County Department of Health, NCAA, PSAC, and WCU guidelines regarding spectator attendance and large event gatherings. In order to allow for our student-athlete's families to see their own athlete compete this year, WCU will be limiting attendance at all athletic events to guests of WCU team personnel only.  No visiting team spectators will be admitted to any athletic event hosted by West Chester University this spring.

For those unable to attend in person, most WCU Athletics events will be livestreamed.  Please go to each team's schedule page for livestreaming information.
