Full EAST-COMM Release
WEST CHESTER, Pa. – A total of 235 West Chester University student-athletes have earned recognition on the inaugural EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll, highlighting the Golden Rams' continued commitment to excellence in the classroom as well as in competition.
West Chester's 235 honorees were recognized across all three athletic seasons, with 99 student-athletes representing spring sports, 88 from fall sports, and 48 from winter sports.
The Golden Rams' football program led all teams with 23 student-athletes earning Academic Honor Roll recognition, while the softball team ranked second with 22 honorees. The impressive totals underscore the department-wide emphasis on academic achievement and the dedication displayed by West Chester student-athletes throughout the academic year.
The EAST-COMM Academic Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who have reached sophomore status in school and have maintained a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average while balancing the demands of collegiate athletics. West Chester's strong representation on the inaugural honor roll reflects the university's longstanding tradition of academic excellence and the commitment of its student-athletes, coaches and academic support staff.
