WEST CHESTER, PA – Junior offensive lineman,
Brendan Ruskowski (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan), was named to
Lindy's Division II second team preseason All-America squad recently.
Ruskowski, a past All-PSAC honoree and
Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area recipient, is the focal point of an offensive line that returns the left side in 2021. The left guard is the most experienced as a former all-conference performer.
"Brendan has been a leader and an anchor on the offensive line for the past few years," West Chester head coach
Bill Zwaan said. "His exceptional work ethic and versatility has helped him mature into an excellent offensive lineman."
Ruskowski was part of an offensive line in 2019 that ranked sixth in the PSAC in rushing offense, averaging 157 yards per game. He blocked for the 2019
Don Hansen FB Gazette Atlantic Region rookie of the year, Ja'Den MacKenzie, who rushed for over 900 yards and 12 touchdowns the last time the Golden Rams were on the gridiron for a season.
