West Chester Hosts Edinboro In Home Opener Saturday

WEST CHESTER, Pa. 
- West Chester University's football squad hosts Edinbor University Saturday afternoon at 12 p.m. inside John A. Farrell Stadium. The football game is the home opener for the Golden Rams (1-1), who split a pair of road contests the first two weeks of the season. For fans traveling to any of the five athletic contests Saturday afternoon, expect delays and plan to arrive early.

All parking in and around Farrell Stadium are pay lots. Spectators will have to pay $10 per car to park. Parking lots open at 9 a.m. Parking will be at a premium, please plan to carpool, or ride-share to cut down on traffic. Tailgating is allowed in Lower Q Lot. The school's tailgating policy is located on the school's web site on the football page, but can be found HERE as well. Gates to Farrell Stadium will open 90 minutes before game time (10:30 a.m.).

Saturday's football game is being presented by Barnaby's. Tickets to Saturday's football game can by purchased online and printed at home by visiting The WCU Box Office. Tickets are $12 for reserved bench seating, $10 for general admission and $7 for children, or senior citizens. WCU students with a valid ID will be admitted free.

No printed programs will be sold at West Chester University football games this season. The digital program can be accessed via the Digital Game Program link above.

Saturday's football game will also be streamed by Sports Fan Base Network (SFBN) and can be seen on the PSAC Network. The women's rugby team hosts Colgate on the Rugby Pitch on South Campus at 11 a.m. That match will also be web streamed on the PSAC Network.

As always, the football game will be broadcast over the radio waves by WCHE 95.3 FM and 1520 AM with Mike Samsel calling all the action and James Jackson on color commentary.
