EWING, N.J. – Former West Chester University women's lacrosse player, Julia Rossi, passed away Monday, Nov. 14 in Ewing, N.J. A May 2022 graduate of the University, she was 22 years old.
Rossi was a four-year letterwinner for the Golden Rams' who helped West Chester to a pair of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championships as well as reaching the NCAA Division II National Championship Game in 2019. She graduated from West Chester University in May 2022 with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology.
The Hamilton Square, N.J. native appeared in 46 games, making 34 starts from 2019 to 2022. A graduate of Notre Dame High School in New Jersey, Rossi was a three-sport athlete playing soccer, basketball and lacrosse while also earning membership in the National Honor Society.
Memorial visitation will be held Sunday, Nov. 20, 2022, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Road, Hamilton, New Jersey 08619. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Nov. 21, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 3816 East State Street Ext., Hamilton, N.J. 08619.
