NEW ORLEANS, La.- After earning his second career Indoor All-Region honor from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) in the triple jump back in March,
Will Rivers (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) collected his third career All-Region citation earlier this month after earning Outdoor All-Region honors in the Triple Jump on the heels of a strong 2022 Outdoor seaon
During the 2022 campaign, Rivers registered the fourth-best triple jump mark in program history at Morgan State on April 23
rd, reaching a distance of 47 feet 8 ½ inches, which was the best mark by a Golden Ram in this event since Eric Broadbent in 2007. This mark also allowed Rivers to enter the PSAC Championships with the fourth-best mark in the league before finishing fifth at the Championships with a mark of 46-7 ¼.
While he is the only member of the men's track and field squad to appear on the Outdoor All-Region squad released by the USTFCCCA, he is joined by two other Golden Rams as
Madison James (York, Pa./York Suburban) and
Sarah Supplee (Orefield, Pa./Northwestern Lehigh) each earned All-Region honors.
