Ann Carozza (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) broke the meet record in the 200-yard butterfly Friday evening, helping West Chester University continue their lead after the third day of competition at the 2023 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Women's Swimming Championships from the Graham Aquatics Center in York, Pa.
With 1233 points, the Golden Rams ended Day 3 in first place. In second with 743 points is Indiana (Pa.) and following them in third place with 609 points is Bloomsburg. Gannon is fourth with 550 points, and Clarion has 530 points for fifth. Edinboro sits in sixth with 463 points, and Millersville is seventh with 408 points. Shippensburg is eighth (388), Kutztown is ninth (289), CalU of Pa. is 10th (243), East Stroudsburg is 11th (209), and Lock Haven is 12th (114).
Carozza finished first in the 200-yard butterfly with a time of 1 minute, 57.52 seconds.Â
Sophia Gerhart (Spring Mills, Pa./Penn Valley Area)Â was the third-place finisher with a time of 2:04.95 seconds.

The Golden Rams took the first, second, third, fifth and sixth places in the 500Â freestyle.Â
Keely Durkin (Brookhaven, Pa./Sun Valley)Â defended her first-place title with a time of 4:54.56.Â
Mikayla Niness (Spring City, Pa./Owen J. Roberts) was right behind her in second place with a time of 4:54.74. Gerhart

DiCarlo finished in third for West Chester in the 100 backstroke, landing the Golden Rams an additional 27 points after her time of 56.79 seconds.
Hemingway was second in the 100 breaststroke, marking a time of 1:03.10.Â
Madelyn Koehle (State College, Pa./State College Area)Â took the fourth-place finish (1:05.37).Â
Isabella Kil (Enola, Pa./East Pennsboro)Â placed first in the 'B' Final of the 100 breast at a time of 1:05.74.
The fourth and final day gets under way Saturday at 10 a.m. with prelims in the 100 free, 200 back, 200 breast, and 1650 free. The finals that evening will take place in those four events plus the 400 free relay, starting at 5 p.m.
