INDiANAPOLIS, IND - West Chester University is headed to Indianapolis, Ind., and the NCAA Women's Lacrosse national semifinals this weekend.

West Chester (21-0) takes on Grand Valley State (16-4) Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. EST at Key Stadium on the campus of University of Indianapolis for the right to play for the national championship on Sunday. Friday's semifinal is the first meeting between the two schools.

NCAA GAME NOTES - WEST CHESTER UNIVERSITY (21-0)
- 12th appearance in the NCAA Division II Women's Lacrosse National Semifinals.
- West Chester has won the national championship twice (2002, 2008).
- West Chester 10-1 in the national semifinals with its lone loss coming in 2011 to Limestone (10-9) in Garden City, N.Y. on the campus of Adelphi Univ.
- West Chester has won its last two semifinal games - vs. Queens (N.C.), 10-9, in 2019 in Grand Rapids, Mich.; vs. Rollins, 17-10, in Louisville, Ky. in 2012.
- West Chester is 19-13 all-time in the NCAA Division II Tournament (19-15 in NCAAs overall - including two years in D1 tournament).
- West Chester has not played any of the other three semifinalists in the postseason.
- West Chester is 1-0 combined against the other three semifinalists all-time (defeated Pace, 20-4, in 2019).
