LOCK HAVEN, PA – West Chester University senior transfer student,
Susana Ungo Quero (Madrid, Spain) was named the Athlete of the Week for women's swimming in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) it was announced Tuesday afternoon.
Ungo Quero helped West Chester's women's swimming team to three victories so far this season. Two of those triumphs came last Friday afternoon at the PSAC Sprint Frenzy and the PSAC Invitational in York, Pa., while the other was two weeks ago on the road at Southern Connecticut State University. This is the first weekly award for Ungo Quero in the PSAC.
The transfer from Emmanuel University registered four first-place wins individually while logging another four first-place efforts on relays with a second-place showing mixed in during West Chester's first three events of the season.
Her times and placement in events are listed below. West Chester's women's swimmers will be back in action on Saturday when they welcome Lehigh and Bloomsburg to Graham Natatorium for their 2024-25 home opener.
