FINDLAY, OHIO- Connor Noble (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East) was named First Team All-Super Region One by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) it was announced on Thursday morning.
This marks the second year in a row in which the Golden Rams linebacker has been named All-Region by the D2CCA, as the Association similarly recognized him as a Second-Team honoree a year ago.
With this First Team honor, Noble advances to the D2CCA All-America ballot, which opens for voting early next week. The 2024 D2CCA All-America Team is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, December 18.
Noble, named First Team All-PSAC East for the second year in a row earlier this fall, was the anchor of West Chester's defense, which dramatically improved as the year progressed. He finished the 2024 season with a career-high 117 tackles and intercepted two passes while forcing two fumbles. He ranked second in the PSAC in tackles while leading the Eastern Division in stops. That total was good for fourth in all of Division II. His 79 assisted tackles were second overall in the PSAC and rank third all-time at WCU. Had the middle linebacker had one more regular-season game, he very well could have broken that record. He was credited with three QB hurries.
Noble's stellar fall followed an equally impressive 2023 season when he was named
Don Hansen FB Gazette, honorable mention All-America, and a second-team Super Region 1 selection. He was a finalist for the Cliff Harris Award and will be up for the same award again this winter.
