LOCK HAVEN, Pa.- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its men's basketball weekly awards on Monday afternoon, and
Dylan Blair (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) earned his first career PSAC East Athlete of the Week honor after another excellent week.
Blair had an excellent weekend to help lead the West Chester University men's basketball team to two more Crossover victories as the Golden Rams opened league play a perfect 4-0 for the first time since December 2019. Blair started his weekend with a 13-point, eight assists, and six rebound effort in the win over California on Friday night. Blair followed this up with his first double-double of the year on Saturday against IUP, finishing with 19 points and 12 rebounds, along with six assists to help guide the Golden Rams to their first win over the Crimson Hawks since 2017.
For the weekend, Blair averaged 16.0 points, nine rebounds, and seven assists per game while also coming away with four steals (averaged two per game).
West Chester is back in action on Saturday afternoon at Caldwell beginning at 1 p.m.
