UNCASVILLE, CT –
Jordan Coleman (Bowie, Md.) placed first on the uneven bars to lead West Chester to a third-place finish during The Podium – the NCAA competition portion of the All-American Challenge –
held at Mohegan Sun Casino in Connecticut Monday afternoon.
West Chester scored a 192.825 as a team. They were paired with Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) foes Brown and University of Bridgeport.
Coleman posted a 9.8 to win the bars during West Chester's pod.
Hyla Betts (Shannock, R.I.) tied for third with a 9.775 while
Sarah Eskew (Pittsburgh, Pa.) tied for fifth with a 9.75.
Lily McFarland (Baltimore, Md.) tied for third on the balance beam for the Golden Rams with a 9.8.
Madison Whitaker (Lancaster, Pa.) was eighth.
Caroline Cascadden (Ashburn, Va.) was third on the floor with a 9.825 to lead West Chester in that event.
West Chester returns to action on Saturday at 2 p.m. for a dual meet with GEC opponent William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va.
