LOCK HAVEN, Pa.- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its men's basketball weekly awards on Monday afternoon, and
Jordan Kellier (Kingston, Jamaica/Redemption Christian) was named the PSAC East Defensive Player of the Week after three more great performances a week ago, which stretched his consecutive double-double streak to five in a row.
Kellier turned in three excellent performances this weekend, increasing his streak of consecutive double-doubles to five after recording one in every game. The PSAC rebounding leader was impressive on the glass this week, coming away with 11 rebounds against Millersville on Monday night, 17 at Bloomsburg on Wednesday, and 16 more on Saturday against Lock Haven. Of these 44 rebounds on the week, 31 came on the defensive glass for the grad student forward. Offensively, Kellier scored 14, 11, and 19 points, respectively, while also coming away with five steals and a pair of blocks on the week for the Golden Rams.
After averaging 14.6 points and 14.6 rebounds per game, Kellier now averages 12.7 points and 10.5 rebounds per game.
Kellier and the Golden Rams return to action on Wednesday evening at Shepherd beginning at 7:30 p.m.
