WEST CHESTER, PA – West Chester University's baseball squad moved up again in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) weekly national poll to No. 13.
It marks the fourth straight week in which West Chester (10-1) has appeared in the rankings. The Golden Rams debuted three weeks ago at No. 21 and climbed three spots to No. 18 two weeks ago. Last week, West Chester was 15th. This week was a two-spot leap for the Purple & Gold, who went 3-1 during the week.
West Chester returns to action on Friday afternoon with a doubleheader against Shippensburg University at Serpico Stadium. First pitch for that doubleheader is tentatively scheduled for 1 p.m. However, the start time of that doubleheader could change due to the weather forecast for Friday.
