AUGUSTA, MI.- Paul-Arthur Roth (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) shot an even-par 71 to sit in a tie for fourth on the individual leaderboard and help lead West Chester to an opening round 291, placing the team first on the team leaderboard heading into the final round on Sunday.
West Chester holds a slim one-stroke lead over Lewis and is two clear of Ohio Dominican heading into the final round tomorrow.
Roth started his day with a birdie on the par-four 15
th and birdied the par-five 18
th, before adding birdies on the par-five sixth and par-four eighth to overcome four bogeys for an opening round of 71.
Patrick Carl (Mount Airy, Md./South Carroll) and
William Hilton (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) joined Roth in the top-10 with rounds of 73 (+2).
