AUGUSTA, MI.- Yamato Kimura (Kuwana Mie, Japan/Monteverde Academy) shot a two-under 69 on Sunday to climb from 16
th into fifth place with a 36-hole score of one-over (74, 69; 143) on the individual leaderboard and help West Chester finish third on the team leaderboard with back-to-back 291s and a 36-hole score of 582 in its final tune-up before the PSAC Championships next weekend.
Kimura, who carded four birdies (par-five sixth, par-four eighth, par-three 11
th, and par-five 18
th) against just two bogeys, was one of three Golden Rams in the top-10 this week as
Paul-Arthur Roth (Virginia Beach, Va./Frank W. Cox) was sixth at +2 (71, 73; 144) while
Patrick Carl (Mount Airy, Md./South Carroll) was seventh at +3 (73, 72; 145).
