For fans who are unable to make it to Farrell Stadium Saturday, a web stream of the football game will be broadcast on the PSAC Digital Sports Network. A link to that web stream is above. Mike Samsel will be on the call with WCU graduate Lamont Harrell on color commentary.

Both teams enter the contest with identical overall records of 3-1. Both teams also won their respective conference openers last weekend with West Chester topping Millersville on the road, 38-7, and East Stroudsburg downing Lock Haven on the road, 24-21.

Despite the calendar only turning to the month of October on Wednesday, this game will play a large part in determining the Eastern Division champion – or, more accurately, determining who continues to have a shot at that division title. East Strroudsburg was picked to finish second in the preseason coach's poll while West Chester was picked to finish third. The winner continues on its path to a showdown with two-time defending conference and division champion Kutztown late in the season while the loser must regroup and receive some help somewhere along the way to come away with the coveted division crown.

West Chester will host Kutztown on Oct. 25 (the Golden Rams' next home game following today) while East Stroudsburg travels to Kutztown the following week. Those two back-to-back contests will most likely determine who ends up in the "State Game" from the Eastern Division.

JORDAN RECOGNIZED BY PSAC TWO WEEKS AGO
West Chester senior quarterback, Cooper Jordan was named the PSAC Eastern Division Offensive Player of the Week by the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference on Sept. 22 for the fifth time in his illustrious career.

Jordan led his team to a 34-16 victory over Seton Hill University in the Golden Rams' home opener of 2025. Jordan was responsible for all five of West Chester's touchdowns. He ran for two scores and threw three TDs while also rushing for over 100 yards in a game for the seventh time in his college career. He finished the day with 112 yards rushing on 20 carries to go with the pair of TD runs.
Through the air, Jordan completed 13 of 19 passes for 224 yards, including the three TD passes - each to a different wide receiver. Jordan passed former running back Rocky Rees for 17th on the school's all-time rushing chart. He now has 2,256 yards on the ground.

OWENS CLOSING IN ON MILESTONE
West Chester running back, Khalil Owens, is approaching a personal milestone as he finishes out his college career in the purple & gold. He entered 2025 with 2,640 all-purpose yards in his two prior stops at Seton Hill and Clarion. So far this season, Owens has rushed for 146 yards, giving him 2,786 career all-purpose yards and leaving him 214 yards shy of 3,000 career all-purpose yards. He has rushed for 1,727 yards while registering 507 receiving yards and 552 return yards (combined punt and kick-off returns). He is 273 rushing yards shy of hitting the 2,000 rushing yard plateau as well.

COOP OFF TO THE RACES
