ABOUT THE GOLDEN RAMS
West Chester (3-2, 1-1 PSAC East) is currently in a three-way tie for third place in the league standings with both Shepherd (1-4, 1-1) and Shippensburg (1-4, 1-1). A path to the Eastern Division regular-season title is still there. But, the Golden Rams will need some help to get to the State Game at the end of the season.

West Chester is coming off a disastrous second half in a 45-14 loss to East Stroudsburg on its Homecoming Weekend last Saturday. The Golden Rams could not slow down the Warriors' running game and allowed 35 points and 332 yards of total offense as ESU erased a 14-10 deficit by scoring five unanswered touchdowns after halftime.

A PEAK AT THE RECORD BOOKS
A Farrell Stadium record crowd of 8,241 crammed into the bleachers, or found a spot on the hill behind the north end zone marking the first sellout of the season for the Golden Rams. In fact, in just two home games so far this fall, West Chester has drawn 14,680 spectators to Farrell Stadium for an average of 7,340 fans per game.

Senior RB, Khalil Owens, is closing in on two milestones. He has 2,853 career all-purpose yards and 1,775 career rushing yards while playing for Seton Hill, Clarion and now West Chester.

Senior MLB, Connor Noble, is also moving up the school's chart in career solo tackles and assisted tackles. Noble has 272 total tackles in three years in the purple & gold, and he sits just five tackles away from hitting the Top 10 in school history and passing former Golden Rams MLB, Mike Dell. Noble also moved into third place on the school's all-time chart for assisted tackles with 179. He passed former WCU Hall of Fame linebacker Lateef Ferguson, who had 170.

Meanwhile, senior QB, Cooper Jordan, is currently 15th on the school's all-time rushing chart with 2,337 career rushing yards. He also stands eighth all-time in passing yards with 5,252 passing yards to his credit. His 40 career TD passes ranks 10th all-time and is one behind ninth place Paul Dooley.

Head coach Duke Greco will go for his 99th career coaching victory on Saturday in Shepherdstown. He racked up 91 of those victories over a 10-year span at Delaware Valley and has the other seven in the year and a half here at West Chester.

ABOUT THOSE 'OTHER' RAMS
Shepherd enters Saturday's contest on the heels of a 38-23 victory over Millersville last week that gave the Rams their first conference win of the season. They bring the league's seventh-ranked offense into Ram Stadium, but just the 13th-ranked defense in the PSAC. They allow on average 39.8 points per game to their opponents.

The matchup of the game will be Shepherd's second-ranked pass offense in the PSAC going up against West Chester's top-ranked pass defense. The Golden Rams lead the conference in interceptions with nine. Bucknell transfer QB Michael Hardyway is the man under center for the Rams. He completes 66 percent of his passes and averages 250 yards passing per game.

R-Jr., RB, Jordan Barnett has rushed for almost 500 yards and scored seven touchdowns on the year so far. He torched West Chester for 106 yards rushing back in 2023. He rushed for 56 yards and a touchdown against the Golden Rams a year ago.
