Greta Saville Hits ‘B’ Time on First Day of Total Performance Invite

GAMBIER, OHIO – Freshman Greta Saville (Mordialloc, Australia) hit an NCAA 'B' Cut time in the 500-yard freestyle on the first day of the Total Performance Invitational inside the Steen Aquatic Center on the campus of Kenyon College Thursday evening.
 
Saville swam the 500 free in 5 minutes, 0.20 seconds to hit her 'B' time for the NCAA Division II Swimming & Diving Championships next March. Ditta Kowalik (State College, PA State College Area) placed 10th in 5:08.50 as well.
 
West Chester also performed well in the 200 individual medley with three swimmers placing in the Top 12. Lenya Ryan (Wilmington, DEL Mt. Pleasant) was eighth in 2:06.68 while teammate Bella Kil (Enola, PA East Pennsboro) was right behind her in ninth in 2:06.84. Molly Hubal (Archbald, PA Valley View) was runner-up in the B-Final to place 12th overall in 2:08.49.
 
The women's 200 free relay started the evening with the 'A' squad placing seventh and the 'B' squad placing 18th. West Chester finished eighth and 14th in the 400 medley relay at the end of Day One.
 
The Golden Rams will be back in the pool Friday morning for the prelims of Day Two and then the finals tomorrow evening.
