Machalina Jasinska Highlights Day Two at Total Performance Invitational

GAMBIER, OHIO – Machalina Jasinska (Warsaw, Poland) hit an NCAA B-Cut time in the 100-yard backstroke to highlight West Chester University's women's swimming effort on the second day of the Total Performance Invitational inside the Steer Aquatic Center on the campus of Kenyon College Friday evening.
 
Jasinska placed third in the 100 back with a time of 56.05 seconds that is the fifth best all-time performance in school history. Lenya Ryan (Wilmington, DEL Mt. Pleasant) also placed sixth in the 400 individual medley (4:30.07) and 11th in the 100 breaststroke (1:04.64) to help West Chester's women Friday. She finished eighth in the 200 IM yesterday.
 
Bella Kil (Enola, PA East Pennsboro) was eighth in the 100 breast (1:04.52), three spots ahead of Ryan. Molly Hubal (Archbald, PA Valley View) was 12th (1:04.85). Kil also led off the 800 free relay team that finished third to close out the second day of competition. Kil's younger sister, Sam Kil was 10th in the 100 butterfly.
 
West Chester, which sits in fourth place with 692 points, will be back in the pool on Saturday in the final day of the Total Performance Invitational.
