WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The West Chester University women's basketball team (4-2) is set to return to action on Tuesday night at Wilmington (0-10) for its non-league finale at the Wildcats beginning at 6 p.m. West Chester will play three times this week to conclude the 2025 half of its slate before returning to the floor again on January 2
nd at Indiana (Pa.) for its first game of 2026.

West Chester picked up its third win in a row earlier this month with a 72-66 victory over Pitt-Johnstown in its first crossover game of the 2025-26 season. West Chester led for nearly 35 of the 40 minutes played on Saturday and led by as many as 14 with under three minutes to play after a late 11-0 run as the Golden Rams coasted to a six-point victory.
Macie McCracken (North Wildwood, N.J./Wildwood) led West Chester in scoring with a career-high 15 points, while

West Chester shot a game-best 66.7 % (8-of-12) from the field in the fourth quarter, including a made three by McCracken as a part of her 11-point fourth quarter performance.

Wilmington enters in search of its first win of the season after falling to Millersville by a 77-49 on Friday afternoon in Delaware. Millersville led by one heading into the second quarter but opened a 41-23 lead at halftime and rode that advantage to a 77-49 victory over the Wildcats. Emma Brown led Wilmington in scoring with 14 points and 10 rebounds, while TyKeisha Hill and Reynah Rattliff finished with 10 points each in the loss. Wilmington shot just 29.0 % (20-of-69) from the field in the loss, including a 2-for-15 (13.3 %) effort from deep, while also going 7-for-9 (77.8 %) at the free throw line.
Wilmington enters play averaging 51.7 points per game on 29.9 % shooting from the field and 22.9 % shooting from three-point range. Rattliff leads the team in scoring, averaging 10.3 points per game on 26.5 % shooting from the field, while Brown leads the team in rebounding, averaging 8.9 rebounds per game.
